Volunteer Your Time

Volunteering at Mitchell Farm Equine Retirement, Inc. is fun and rewarding. Opportunities including grooming, feeding and bathing the horses, cleaning the barns and helping to maintain fence lines and keeping pastures clean. Mitchell Farm is a great place for 4-H clubs, Pony Clubs and scout troops to work on new projects and complete a variety of merit badges. The minimum age for volunteers is 15.

Our staff and facility are available for internships in the equine science field. Individuals seeking community service hours for school credit or other, and Corporate groups are always welcome. We can set up work-Bees on weekends for any sized group. Specialized projects such as electrical work or building projects can be arranged.
